Venus Huggie Earrings

Aphrodite is the Greek Goddess of love and beauty and was also widely worshipped as a goddess of the sea, leading to the popular artistic representations of her being portrayed in the sea or surrounded by seashells.

One such representation is Francois Boucher’s 1740 painting Triumph of Venus. 

The Aphrodite earrings feature rose gold plated brass lever back huggie hoops and pearl and alloy rose gold charms. 

The huggie hoops measure 12 x 15 mm and the oyster charms measure approx. 13 x 15 mm.
